Welcome to the Green Party election website. On 5 June 2009 vote for our excellent slate of candidates from Skibbereen to Inishowen. We want to add to our 30 seats on local authorities around the country, and we need your vote!
We also want to regain our place in the European Parliament and send Irish MEPs to join our green counterparts from across Europe:
Senator Déirdre de Búrca is our candidate for Dublin; Senator Dan Boyle is standing in the South constituency and Steven Agnew is the Green candidate in Northern Ireland.
This website will help you to find the Green candidate in your area. You can also learn more about the Party’s policies and achievements since we entered government for the first time in June 2007. Our manifestos for the local and European elections.
